My friend Brooke and I decided to get all dolled up and enjoy ourselves some true English tea. We ended up at this adorable tea shop over in Notting Hill called The Muffin Man. Naturally, we got ourselves a pot of tea and began to gaze at their menu. It only felt right to order some cucumber sandwiches, but I was not let down; they were delicious. I really think I could get used to this "having tea" ritual. I absolutely love spending time in cute little cafes with good friends and just enjoying one another's conversation, in no hurry to be anywhere but there. It is really quite relaxing and liberating to slow life down a bit and enjoy the simple things. Anyways, we finished off our lovely tea date with a slice of lemon cake. Perfection.
