Even though I haven't quite inherited my mother's gardening skills, I definitely have come to share her love for flowers. The Columbia Road Flower Market has been on my "must see" list for ages now and my girl Brooke and I finally made it out there on Sunday, sunshine and all. The market was absolutely amazing. You just stroll through this tiny crowded street packed full of booths showing off their extravagant flowers. I had not a clue as to what some of the lovely plants were, but I wanted to take each and every one home with me. It was one of the happiest and cutest things I have seen in London yet. I mean, it is pretty hard to be a grouch when you are surrounded by hundreds of beautiful flowers. Sadly, I did not purchase any flowers because I am leaving for another trip soon and did not want them to go to waste in my room! The only thing that could have made this day any better was if my mom was there strolling along the cobblestone flower-filled street with me!
