Borough Market

This past Friday afternoon I had a few hours to kill so I thought I would finally check out Borough Market. Needless to say, I was not disappointed with my decision. This market puts any farmers markets to shame. They literally had everything you could ever want. It took me almost three hours to actually go through the entire thing; there were so many booths I kept missing and had to return to. The fresh produce was definitely the most impressive, my mother would have been in vegetable heaven. They also had tons of fresh bread, strong-smelling cheeses, and sausages that looked delicious, but I did not get a chance to try. Of course, like most places in London, there was an abundance of cupcakes and flowers. After circling the whole market, I had made up my mind of what I wanted to taste... the duck sandwich. It looked phenomenal, but unfortunately the line was packed! I decided to settle with a feta and spinach stuffed calzone, a slice of artisan bread and a pastry. Delicious and cheap. I would seriously recommend this market to anyone ever visiting London, you won't be let down!
