My friend Lucy and I spent our Thursday afternoon searching the streets of London for some affordable thrift shops, and luckily we found a quite a few. My absolute favorite was Retromania, they had a nice range of prices and they also had so many different styles to choose from, for guys and girls! They also stocked their store with books, shoes, records, teacups, and other little knick-knacks. The best part about shopping there was the vibe and the atmosphere, it was perfectly cluttered. I ended up purchasing this seafoam green pea coat. I fell in love with the detailing and buttons. I guess I am already preparing myself to return to the wonderful Minnesota winter because I then went on to buy another pea coat at the next shop. But really, who doesn't need a camel-colored pea coat? We finished off this lovely afternoon with some smoked salmon baguettes in the park; it is days like these that make me never want to leave this crazy city.
